Is this a real baby or a doll?
It is — clearly and proudly — a doll. A reborn is a hand-finished art piece sculpted to resemble a sleeping infant. It is not a real child, and it is never marketed as one. Its value lies entirely in the craft, the comfort, and the artistry it represents.
How does the heartbeat work?
A small rechargeable pulse module sits in a discreet inner pocket near the chest cavity. One button activates a soft 70–80 BPM rhythm with a gentle vibration profile. The module charges via USB-C and lasts roughly 8–10 hours per charge. It can be removed for washing the body cloth.
What is she made of? Is it safe?
A medical-grade silicone-vinyl blend — non-toxic, hypoallergenic, EN-71 and CPSIA tested. Paints are heat-set Genesis pigments designed for reborn artistry; they do not transfer or fade with normal handling. Suitable for adults and supervised older children.
